Chinese Battle of Books
On January 21st & 22nd, our Chinese Department held the Chinese Battle of Books (BOB) in the fifth year. Reading Chinese literatures is one of the effective ways to let students learn, understand and inherit Chinese culture, customs and history from multiple perspectives. Therefore, we held the Chinese BOB with the purpose of, firstly, encouraging students to read more Chinese literatures in their spare time and thus improve their Chinese literacy; secondly, providing a book list for those who have a strong intention to read but lack a reading direction. The outstanding performers in this BOB will represent NCPA to participate in the PRD International Schools BOB Competition next semester. In addition, our professional Reading Specialist and the rich reading resource in our school library and various e-learning platforms will help our students look at things from multiple perspectives and become a knowledgeable and resourceful NCPAer.
