NCPAers awarded by Canada Golden Maple International Film Festival
Our senior student Paco Zhou won the Best Short Film Director award at the 6th Canada Golden Maple International Film Festival for his work Silent. It is an international cultural and artistic festival that is officially certified by Canada to facilitate the communication and cooperation between international filmmakers and film companies. It provides opportunities for freelance film and television creators from all over the world to compete for international honor. As a product of NCPA Film Maker club, Silent won the favor of the organizing committee with its high-quality production and plot atmosphere. The film is a fictional short story about a student who returned to school after healed from the coronavirus. This film warns us to care for others, which delivers a meaningful message to the society. We believe these young film dreamers will continue to bring more practical and creative films in the future.
