First project in AP Art and Design
After nearly two months of study and exploration in the AP Art and Design class at GUIS-NCPA, the AP Art students, under the guidance of Mr. Frels, have created their first artwork of the school year. These artworks represent the first assignment of the course, which focuses on understanding what makes a work of art highly developed. In the class exhibition, each work is accompanied by a formative artist's statement that explains the current direction of each student's work. This work marks the starting point of their ongoing academic research in AP Art and Design, where they will develop and refine their respective lines of inquiry throughout the year.
