Middle School STEM class
In Ms. Kovalevsky's recent STEM class, MS students completed the first unit and summative. Ms. Kovalevsky led the students to understand the core meaning of the STEM course, learn the relevant English academic vocabulary, and learn how to use recycled materials to design their own self-driving cars or bridges, and use sketch notes to explain and demonstrate their design concepts and processes as well as conclusions and reflections. Students worked in groups to use limited "funds" to "purchase" recycled materials to build their own scientific works.
