Congratulations to NCPAer for being selected for inclusion in the 2023 AP Art and Design Exhibit! 

We are very happy and proud to hear that our graduate Oneal Gao (class of 2023) was one of 50 students whose artwork was selected for inclusion in the 2023 AP Art and Design Exhibit. Rebecca A. Stone-Danahy, Director of AP Art and Design Curriculum and Assessment says, "this year’s exhibit features high-quality student artwork showcasing a diverse range of student ideas, styles of artmaking, materials used, and conceptual and physical processes involved with making works of art and design." 

Oneal shared with us that his artwork investigates the relationship between his pride and his body. He used the sofa to express his pride in his body. He experimented with the installation of a sofa and then used it as a source for his silhouette.
