Orientation Week 

From August 21st, NCPA started an orientation week for new students. During the advisory in the morning, students got to know each other, learned about student life on the campus, and got social and emotional education, etc. After school, new students completed MAP Reading test, which could help teachers know better about their English reading levels and then make adjustable teaching plans. New students also engaged in a variety of activities in different groups, such as team building, meeting counselors and EAL specialists, learning school policies, intro to Library, etc. We held the first assembly of this school year on Friday, new teachers introduced themselves to the students and so did those student leadership organizations. We are looking forward to seeing NCPAers become better Negotiators, Collaborators, Planners and Achievers through out this school year!
