Teachers Learning Teams
To promote students’ learning, NCPA attaches great importance to professional development of teachers. Learning Teams provide a time and space for teachers to share their best instructional practices with each other, engage with research and get feedback on new tools, assessment strategies for the students. Learning teams are able to collaboratively discuss how to best provide scaffolding and support for English as an Additional Language in the context of rigorous instruction. These discussions and reflections allow our faculty to develop their own capacity as educators and to clarify how they continue to refine their practice to best meet our students' learning needs.
