We are Bigsibs!
On January 14th, we held the annual induction for new members from Bigsibs. Administrators, teachers and Bigsibs supervisors also attended and witnessed the ceremony. Established in 2017 at NCPA, Bigsibs is a peer helper organization made up of a group of like-minded students who care about students’ needs. It strives to promote the mental health and well-being of students and to support the transition of new students to NCPA. After several years of development, Bigsibs has transformed into a student-led organization with a systematic process for membership. Before joining the Bigsibs family, students must complete the application, interview, and attend 12 hours of intensive training, including peer mediation, conflict resolution, development and enhancement of basic counseling skills. This process ensures that each member has the professionalism and skills to serve.
