The 10th SCMUN at NCPA 

From December 3rd to 5th, we hosted the 10th South China Model United Nations (SCMUN) Conference. As our Head of School Ms. Maldonado advocated, SCMUN is very special to us, not only because it has been an annual event hosted by NCPA since its founding in 2012, but more importantly, it also embodies our core values and school mission, which is empowering students to achieve academic and social excellence. NCPAers and students from other international schools expressed their opinions, and jointly proposed solutions to the international hot issues in the post-pandemic era. Students discussed international affairs as national diplomatic representatives at five committees: UN Security Council, Special Committee, Economic and Social Council,  UN Human Rights Council and WHO. SCMUN is a valuable platform where students can develop their international view and communication and negotiation skills. We hope that students can use the skills they have learned at SCMUN to further develop themselves and the surrounding societies.
