Battle of Books
There is a cliche question about reading: "why should we read?" Ms. Battistoni, the Chief Librarian at NCPA, answers, "We hope our students fulfill themselves spiritually through their reading."
On March 13th, 2019, NCPA successfully held the Battle of Books reading competition. 27 students from NCPA middle school and high school participated in this exciting reading competition with students from six other international schools. The students worked in groups and discussed the answers together.
Although there were different voices during the discussion, members managed them with cohesive collaboration. Laughs and cheers were all around the competition. Students enjoyed the competition a lot.
Gorgy once said: "Books are steps toward human progress." We encourage our students to read more and enjoy what they read!
